This year's running
The Bathurst 1000, part of the Supercars Championship, will take place at the iconic Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, NSW, from 8th to 11th October 2026. Known as the Repco Bathurst 1000 for sponsorship reasons, this 1,000.29-kilometre race is a highlight in the motorsport calendar.
Last time out
In the 2025 Bathurst 1000, Matthew Payne and Garth Tander clinched victory for Grove Racing. This marked Payne's first win and Tander's sixth, his first in a Ford. James Golding initially crossed the line first but was relegated to third due to a post-race penalty.
What to expect this year
This year's race will continue the tradition of featuring a single 1,000-kilometre race.
